Windows Media Player (WMP) toolbar option missing

The Windows Media Player 9 toolbar is not displaying when WMP is minimized. After making sure that the Windows Media Player toolbar option is enabled, run the following:

regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player\wmpband.dll
regsvr32 "%windir%\system32\wmp.dll".

A restart may be necessary for the changes to take effect.
